Dr. Umut Şimşek

Umut Şimşek was born in 1982 in Edirne. He moved to Istanbul in 1986 due to his father’s work. He spent his childhood in Bakırköy, Istanbul. He attended primary and secondary school at Bakırköy Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar Primary School. He started to work at Bakırköy Sabri Çalışkan High School. He was invited to Private Uğur Course with a scholarship by his school because he completed his first year in high school with first degree.

Uğur course and Bahçeşehir College under the same institutional roof , thuss ,Due to his success at Uğur course  , he was invited to Bahçeşehir College with a scholarship for his senior year and completed his high school education at the same college.

After passing the Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in university examinations, he studied preperation year at Marmara University School of Foreign Languages between 1999-2000. He completed his master’s degree at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2001-2005 academic year.

He began his doctoral studies in 2005 at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Gingival Diseases and Surgery (Periodontology). 

In the first two years of his doctoral education, he has taken basic radiology courses on Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance (MR) in addition to basic doctorate courses in order to contribute to his implant thesis.

After the proficiency exam, he has studied many clinical cases on surgical treatments. His doctoral dissertation was on the implant he wanted to be specific in his field.

 Ph.D. in clinical, radiographic and biochemical evaluation of fluoride-modified dental implants in periodontally healthy individuals with a history of periodontitis. thesis in 2011.

After completing his doctoral studies after a period of 6 years, he was awarded a Certificate of Expertise by the Ministry of Health.

In Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry, he has worked on numerous cases in oral surgery with his master’s degree and doctorate education. 

However, in 2016, Dr. Umut Şimşek established the Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic with all these trainings, which he thought would reflect his knowledge and skills to a certain extent in clinics that are not his own. In addition to surgical branches, it aims to reflect its knowledge and skills completely and provides successful services in aesthetic dental treatments with the aim and belief of evaluating its patients not only surgically but also as ’aesthetic’. believes that every patient should be evaluated in every aspect of each patient in a special way.
